My sweet Kylee turned 5 today, Its kinda a bittersweet thing for me. So heres some pics from the party that night. We went to a place out here that has a bunch of really big inflatables for the kids to jump on and they all LOVED it! Kylee even got brave enough to start going down on her back head first. Emma got pretty tricky and started to go down the slide by herself. I made the cake, Sol called it Mount Barbie and I guess he thought it looked like a volcano but I think it turned out ok. We got her a big girl bike thats the real deal complete with hand brakes so she thinks shes pretty cool. She kept saying "wow, this sure is my lucky day"
Happy Easter! Just a couple, I only got a couple because my camera was do trying to die on me. Hope it was good for everyone. Kylee and Chels LOVED thier "special purses" as they called them-Emma was mad she didnt get one(where she got her shoe and purse fetish I really dont know!:). We tried to do an egg hunt but Emma just walked to the egg and looked at it rather than actually put it in her basket. Oh well, better luck next year!
OK so the kids were climbing the walls yesterday so the genious side of me said "Hey why dont we get the project bucket out?" Sounds fun right? Not so much! Emma decided to get in on the fun and 2 green chairs, 3 ruined shirts and 1 pair of pants later and a bubble bath, umm ya not doin that again unless Emmas down for a nap!
Ok so since I have totally gotten back into Scrapbooking I signed up as a consultant for Creative Memories for the discount mainly. I got like $475 worth of retail product for less than $80. If anyone is looking into getting a bunch of stuff I would highly recommend that and then just going inactive after. They have some really cute paper packs that are pretty cheap, perfect for making a baby book or album kits for doing themed books like weddings, etc. Chances are I am prolly going to be going inactive here pretty quick and going to be kicked out...Oh well, I got lots of stuff for cheap! :)
I have been getting asked by it seems and feels like everyone and thier dog whats beeng on with us lately so here is goes....
Sol has been swarmed with work, it seems like people are coming out of the wood work for him. Good? Yes well kinda, the only thing is the freakin weather wont cooperate! One day it will be nice and 70 degrees and the next day it will be either raining or the chance of snow! Come on Mother Nature help us out! Sol has been working out hardcore lately tryin to get back into the summer clothes. I think last week he only missed like 2 days if that. He goes to work then goes to the gym at about 10 PM and gets home at about midnight so hes crazy dead tired these days!
I have been busy doing my stuff. I got called back in YW after the ward split about a month or two ago and I LOVE it! Sol and I joke that I have 3 kids but have adopted like 12 more ( they called me as the beehive adivsor but there is only one advisor -me- so I am THE advisor over ALL the girls) They are such an inpiration to me and I love to be around them. I had to sub Chelseas sunbeam class on fast Sunday this month and I was so depressed that night because I didnt get to see any of "my girls". So with that and the whole "mom" thing it seems like I cant even breathe right now. Emma has been back on the croupe thing so breathing treatments twice daily and her medicine every 4 hours in between. That makes the 3rd time she has had croupe since October and she has also had pnemonia twice since then too. Add 2 ear infections and 1 double ear infection and 3 Emergency Room visits and I swear I am just going to start renting a room at the hospital! She will be 18 months soon so nursury here we come! With her being the youngest of 3 she is pretty good at defending herself and she will, and she does-almost a little too much-I think I have "that kid" in nursury...again, welcome to life with Chelsea. Chelsea and her "issues"-anyone who has had the pleasure of spending more than 2 hours with her knows about her "issues". She is starting to get the croupe bug too I think, she cough is starting to give her away. She has been keeping me a little higher on my toes lately due to the fact that she has now figured out how to climb on top of the counter and get whatver she wants back down or a snack or something out of the candy bowl, etc. She is so dang sneaky that I have found her peeking around corners like the Marines do in the military. Oh ya and she has figured out how to climb up and down the footboard of her TOP bunk so she doesnt have to go down the ladder-which I have on purpous put in view of the door so I can see if shes getting out of bed. Still tryin to figure out how to fix that problem. Kylee is getting ready to be 5 next week-dont know how that happened so fast. She is insisting on a Barbie Mariposa party-complete with a handmade cake with the barbie in the middle so thats another thing for me to add to my list. Kylee is getting bored at home now she shes gotten mighty sassy lately too, I have been having to tell her she better watch what she says or I am calling the Easter Bunny and telling him he can skip our house-she goes into panic mode and tries to make "i'm sorry credit cards" for everyone-she calls them credit cards rather than regular halmark like cards. Easter is on Sunday and luckily enough I am pretty much done with that all I need to do is make the girls thier pillowcase dresses for thier after church outfits to go in thier baskets and we are done. I may try to find a skirt or something if I can figure out a way to do it without all kids in tow so we will see...
I have also decided to take pity on Chelsea and start her a baby book/scrapbook-I know, I know, shes 4 and only has her ultrasound pics and like 5 of her birth pics in the scrapbook I already have. Every time she looks at it I have had to lie to her and tell her that some of the pics of Kylee are her as to not make her feel bad and start crying. Emma doesnt even have a pic of me pregnant in the book so I gotta get on that one too. So I did, I ordered some stuff from Creative Memories and have a start of a baby book for Chels and also one for Emma-Thanks Abby! I love it! OK well I had more I was going to add but Chels is Fred Flinstone Running thru the kitchen-a sure sign that something is being snuck!
