My Honey!

Ok so I just thought I would tell yall how much Sol has been helping me thru this drama. He has been so good about getting me set up in bed or on the couch and helping me to go pee when I couldnt stand up right or if I was too wobbly to walk from my pain pills. Ever since Wednesday night if I move at all in bed he sits straight up like he's having a nightmare or something and asks me all panicked, "are you ok, what do you need, I will get it for ya!" He even comes to lay down next to me in bed and if I get up to go pee or something hes right there "here I'll go get it!" He has been doing the kids too since then. He loads the kids up if we go somewhere, unloads them, dresses them, changes Emmas diapers. Basically being a stay at home mom on top of taking care of me. He has been doing all the food, yesterday he made me a yummy turkey quesedilla for lunch. He took all the kids on the boat yesterday and let me rest with no kids at Rachels house and even called me 3 times in the 4 hours he was gone to check on me. He has been my best friend thru this long week, my strength, my comfort, and my life saver. I am so grateful to him for all his help thru this long week, I know it hasnt been easy on him and he hasnt complained once about any of this! LOVE YOU BABE!

Ok Seriously?!?

Ok Seriously, Can we not just catch a break or what? I swear when it rains is pours. Sol goes into work on Monday and calls me 2 hours after he left and says "well baby, I now have Mondays off!" He lost his first account to the crappy economy and the accounts that he does still have dont have much work either since nobody is buying cars right now!
Then on Wednesday everything starts going down hill. I wake up and go pee and there is blood on the toilet paper. I see it and think to myself Hmm, we will have to watch that today and try to lay low as much as possible today. Well it happened again so same thing,"hmm, we will have to watch that." Then I sit down at the table to work on some letter worksheets with Kylee and Chles and I get a GUSH, like oh my goodness, what was that, running down my legs. Yup, its blood and LOTS of it! So I call my dr and they tell me to go to the Emergency room. So then I call my Whitney and ask her to keep the girls for me and of course she says yes. So I start sprinting around my house getting me ready for all the tests they will probably do, the kids dressed and a bag rounded up with enough stuff to keep them entertained so poor Whitney doesnt loose her mind with my kids plus her new 2 month old. I get the kids dropped off and get to the er and realize that I havnt called Sol and told him any of this. So I call him and realize that my phone is soo almost dead like its beeping at me. So I try to call him anyways and it rings twice then dies. So they call me back and get me all hooked up to everything in the room-even a cathater, and IV, bloodpressure thing and the red finger light thing. They do blood tests and all kinds of ultrasounds and determine that there is no fetal movement or heartbeat and we lost the baby sometime last week and I should go home and get ready to pass it. So I call Sol on the hospital phone (all kinds of drama with the hospital phone too) and tell him whats going on and then call Whitney and tell her whats going on and I will be there in a minute to get the kids. So I just leave my phone dead-dont really want to talk to anyone but Sol at this point and I know my phone is just blowing up with calls and texts if I turn it back on. Go back home and call Sol on the house phone and tell him I am going to come to his work in Rivergate and get some money to go get the needed supplies for my looming miscarraige. Can I just tell you how freakin crazy it is to actually know that you are going to have a miscarraige?!? Totally bizaar!
So we go to target and get all my needed stuff including a filled RX for lortab. Sol decided to go and get our phones switched over to sprint since my phone was broke and now is a time to have a decent working phone. So we go to the sprint store and get my phone then go home and prep for my looming miscarraige. Ya that night it didnt happen. So I get up and go to my dr appt with my OBGYN at 8 am per er discharge papers and wouldnt ya know it I am not even on the schedule?!? So they fit me in and the dr does another ultrasound on me and determine that yes the er dr was right no more baby and that my body isnt realizing that the baby died and isnt thrying to pass it-I was not bleeding anymore at all or cramping up. So we schedule a D&C for Friday at noon. So no food or drink after midnight and I check into the hospital at 11 AM.
I called Rachel and she said she would keep the kids and let them sleep over friday night so we didnt have to worry about getting me home and dealing with kids. And Sol called in work and told them what was going on so he would be able to stay with me.
Everything with the procedure was fine. The anesthesia was awesome, I loved it! I decided that if you are going to have a miscarraige then the D&C is the way to go!
So I am all loopy, so if this is all jumpy or rambling-ish thats they. They have me on percoset, lortab and heavy motrin. I am not allowed to take a bath for a week or lift anything over 10 lbs or drive myself anywhere so I am starting to get frustrated with not being able to go anywhere unless Sol is driving me.
I am acutally surprising myself with how calm I a have been, I havnt been falling apart with this one like I did with my first miscarraige. I have huge comfort knowing that this isnt the end of this baby and I will see it again and have a chance to raise it and hold it in the next life. As bad as this week has been I am so much more thannkful for my wonderful family and friends who have sent all the well wishes, prayers, and have helped with everything from meals to kids to fetching pills. Love you all!

Soo Excited!

Ok so for basically my whole life I have had this friend, well actually shes my bestest friend. We used to do everything together growing up including going to Girls Camp, Disneyland, everything. We spend sooo much time chatting on the phone, she calls me on the way to work some mornings and we even text during the day some days. She was even there when my Kylee was born and all my kids just LOVE her and her husband. So last night while Sol and I were on the computer looking at different cell phone companies trying to pick who we should switch to, I got a call on Sols Cell from my very bestest friend in the whole world! She was like "umm is your phone dead or what I tried calling you and I sent you a picture to your phone, go check it." So I did with her still on the phone. It was a picture of a positive pregnancy test! I started screaming and jumping up and down and yelling "YAY! WE GET TO BE PREGNANT TOGETHER!!" She is only 4 weeks along so that would put her due right around my Kylees birthday but we are both soo excited, I even almost started to cry in the tub last night! I am gonna try to go back to AZ for her baby but with a 6 week old, a 2 year old, a 4 yr old and a 5 almost 6 year old in school I dont know how well that would work but oh well, I am still gonna try! I would put a picture up of the both of us but she would seriously KILL ME!
Anyways thats the exciting news from our house. Oh ya and I am FINALLLY starting to feel human again-yay! I will be 11 weeks along on Saturday so its about time!!

Mad Props To Sol

Ok so I just needed to Brag on Sol for a minute. Wednesday he got up early, early like he was up and out of the house by 7:30 (normally he wouldnt be up and out till almost 9) and went and worked a FULL/CRAZY day with Adam. (he has been working 2 days a week with/for Adam since his leg is broken to help him out so he can still have some money rolling in while his leg is healing-about another 4-6 months till he is completly back on his feet) He got home from work and played with the kids everything from coloring pictures to duck-duck-goose. Then we went to walmart to get stuff to make homemade pizza. All thur this I was feeling fine (well as fine as a 9 week pregnant lady can) then a lady who just got done smoking came and blew in my face and I was SOO sick. I look at Sol and say "we have to get out of here NOW!" So I take the kids and both carts and go up to the front to get in line to check out while Sol gets the last couple things I needed. We get home and make the pizzas, I have 1 slice of mine and I still feel REALLY sick. I put the kids in bed and go take a bath to see if that would help-it didnt. So I tell Sol I am going to bed to see if I can shake it and BAM it hit like hurricane Katrina. I was throwing up about every 30 min the whole night- I had the worst 24 hour flu bug I have ever had. And to make it better I am 9 weeks pregnant so still feeling nauseated from that. So thru the night Sol got up and dealt with Emma (for some reason she got up 3 or 4 times that night-she never really does that)then got the girls up and did the breakfast thing. Made the big girls clean thier room and do thier chores and then got the big girls dressed, put Emma down for a nap and took the big girls with him to all his dealerships up in Clarksville to pick up checks. He even went to Walmart and got diapers and batteries for the girls' leapsters and then to Mcdonalds for lunch. They came back so happy and excited about thier trip to all "daddys works". He kept asking me if I needed anything and kept the girls out while I was trying to rest and kept them entertained and happy (for the most part)
I am feeling MUCH better today- a little nauseated but I think thats baby sickness rather than the flu.
p.s. The top pic is at the lake Sol holding Chels, the one after that is Sol holding Kylee and then the bottom one is of course is Emma napping with daddy

I Really Lived-By Sister Hinckley

I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.

I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.

I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenk's lawn.

I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children.

I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.

I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.

I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived.

I found this today on another persons blog and loved it. She is such an insperation to me and what I want to and should be.
