Our sweet boy arrived November 4, 2009. I went in for my last dr. appt on Monday the 2nd and he said we could pick either Wednesday or Thursday of that week to enduce labor. We said Wednesday-I honestly think Sol picked that day because he couldnt deal with the whole "I am never going into labor" mean person I had turned into anymore. I was DONE!
This is the last pregnant pic of me. This is right before we walked out the door to go to the hospital.
We showed up to the ER at 7 AM per dr orders, get to the registration desk only to have the lady see my insurance card and say "hold on a minute." NOT FUNNY!
Well, turns out our insurance redid all the contracts and the hospital we were at didnt sign the new contract. So, we had to go thru some extra steps and some extra phone calls and some nerve racking minutes wondering if I was infact going to be enduced or not. But, they did let me upstairs-thank goodness.
Dr. came in and broke my water at 7:30, I was dialated to a 2 and 70% effaced. Sol thought it was a good idea to bring out one of the card games we brought. We played that for about an hour or so but in the meantime, the nurse started me on petocin at 8. After the contractions started to get too bad to concentrate on the game we put it away and watched TV. I asked for some Nubaine, they gave me a dose- Nothing. They gave me a second dose- Nothing. By then I was done feeling them and ready for my epidural. She checked me I was at a 4 so they called the guy.
He came up, did his thing and finished up right as Rachel, Sols mom, and Emma came up. I was at a 7 already and the dr said he was going to go change since he thought we would be pushing soon. 3 Contractions later I was telling Sol to go find the nurse, I had to push. In came the dr and nurse, they set up the bed, I pushed TWICE and he was out. The dr did not even have enough time to put his hat and booties on. I found all his stuff still sitting on the table that night. The nurse was laughing because I told her when we were starting and she was putting my IV in that I set a goal to be done before lunch because I was super hungry (I wasnt allowed to eat after midnight) High and getting into 'the zone'
He was 6 lbs 8 oz and 19 in long and perfectly healthy in every way. We all love this little boy and feel so extremly blessed that everything went well with the delivery and he is healthy.

November Catch Up
Ok now here is November.
We had my 26th birthday- We didnt do anything. I got my enducement date the day before at my last dr appt and I was happy with that. Sol went to work with his dad and I spent the day relaxing, visiting with my sweet mother-in-law, and finishing up tying up loose ends for my baby boy to come the next day. This year it was the perfect birthday! The next week after things calmed down a little Sol went shopping with his mom while I took 2 of the kids to the dr they picked me out a really cute new coat and boots.
The next day we were blessed with our sweet baby boy we have been waiting for for so long. Everything went great with the delivery and he was perfect. I will do a seperate post with pics and everything for ya to enjoy! :)
Then on the 25th we had Sols birthday. He turned 29. Very uneventful-seems to be the theme for our birthdays this year. The girls made him cards and I made him breakfast in bed. Then that night we slept over at Tims and had a litle family cake and ice cream deal.
Of course we did Thanksgiving the next day. We were at Tims. I brought all 6 pies-Pumpkin, Cherry, Pecan, Strawberry, Key Lime, and a Crunchy Carmel Apple. They all tasted so good, I barely ate any dinner because I had been working on the pies all day! :)
Anyways, thats November, I am now offically caught back up! hooray!
October Catchup
October came and went so quick, my head is still spinning. November did too! Here is what happened in October....
Emma turned THREE! How that happened I dont know but it did and she loved it. Being 9 months pregnant made me really not want to do anything at all but I felt bad so we did a little family cake and ice cream party with Tim and his family even though Rachel and Adam were in Texas. Daddy got her her pink Nintendo DS that she has been asking for forever and I got her the Lovely Lisa game for it and Grandmother Ivy sent her some money so we got her the Little Einstiens game for it. She is a pretty happy girl for sure!

Then Sols parents flew in from AZ to help welcome baby Asher.

Chelsea had a field trip to Honeysuckle Hill Farm. Emma and I went (even though everyone didnt think it was a good iead-they thought I was going to go into labor in the corn maze or something!)and we all had fun. Chels really needed some good fun mama time and I liked going and seeing her class and was able to put faces with names. They got to pick and take home a little pumpkin and she thought that was the best thing ever!

After they flew in we took all the kids in the family down to Build-A-Bear Workshop and they all made bears for her birthday party. It was a huge hit, all the big kids are saying they want to go back for thier birthday party.

Then there comes Halloween. They all picked out different fairies from the Tinkerbell movie. Kylee was Silvermist, Chels was Irredessa, and Emma was Tinkerbell. They all thought it was beyond awesome. We took them trick-or-treating in Adam and Rachels neighborhood. Adam had the great idea to hook up the big wagon to the back of the quad and go like that. It was a wonderful idea! I thought it would be a good idea to try to put myself into labor by running up and down the hills next to the quad. I was running 8-10 MPH on the hills and no contractions.

7 years!

Sol and I celebrated our anniversary a couple weeks ago on September 7 we celebrated 7 years of marraige, I cant belive its been 7 years already. Some days it seems like forever ago but some days it seems like we were married just yesterday and we were off on our honeymoon to Disneyland for the Labor Day weekend. Anyways, love you baby!Heres to at least 70 more!
This picture makes me smile everytime I see it. I never noticed it before but I remember my mom saying it touched her that when the bishop said to take hands he took my hand with both of his and he had this look on his face. I think this is when he said that.

Dont you love the color of my hair? hehe Sol dyed it for me the night before the wedding so I didnt have roots.
We went to the church to get tables set up and iron the table cloths then to his moms house so his sister could put some nails on me. While we were there I saw a mirror and realized I had HUGE roots, it was 10 PM the night before my wedding so now what? So, we went to Bashas and bought a box of color and went back to my/my moms and he slapped the color on for me, washed it out and tucked me in for bed! I woke up that next morning for my hair appt, then picked him up and went to the church. When we showed up, the fire alarm was going off and there were fire trucks everywhere. Sols nephew had pulled the alarm. I couldnt decide weather to strangle the kid or start bawling and go back to bed! Everything got settled down and we got hitched but I still semi laugh about how all the events went down! Guess we were ment to live in a constant state of spontainity and craziness-it hasnt slowed down at all!
I think since my camera broke on that day at the beach while camping we are all pretty much up to date picture wise.
Since then the girls have started school. It has been a rough adjustment for Kylee. We were having issues with her teacher and some of the other kids in the class but I THINK we have gotten it figured out. Chels has been and continues to be doing awesome. She has been getting some extra worksheets from her teacher to do because she pretty much knows everything right now and has been getting into trouble talking because shes bored.
As for Baby Asher, things are looking good so far. There was a concern as to how far we were going to be able to get. He was breech for a while and we are dialated and ephased already but we have now hit 33 weeks so its not too risky anymore and he has flipped so that means no for sure c-section. The bag is packed and the hospital registration papers are submitted. Hoping to make it full term but will take anything after 35 weeks. Due November 9 still.
I have been starting to feel insanely and incredibly overwhelmed by everything the past month or so. Trying to figure out a good game plan for the girls while we are in the hospital as well as for him has been a HUGE stresser for me. It doesnt sound like much but in there the girls have school everyday, homework, Emmas daily medications and asthma that has to be VERY closely monitored on top of meals, school pick up and drop offs, and all that other 'fun' every day life junk. There is also Sols dog that needs to be somewhere during this mess. Then the whole coming home from the hospital and getting me and baby healed and adjusted to things on top of the usual normal everyday life duties has me up on many many sleepless nights.
Sol is doing as well as can be expected. He has been working 3 days a week unless its raining and spending the other days helping do kids and house since I have been majorly out of commission this summer.
Both he and I are ready for baby Ash to come so we can resume normal life again. I cant wait for the day to be able to go do normal things like grocery shopping by myself and not have to bring Sol with me everywhere so he can load and unload everything. I cant wait for the day to be able to pick Emma up and snuggle her like she asks for and to be able to get down on the floor and back off easily with the other girls to do different things.
I know we are incredibly blessed to be able to bring these children into our family but this pregnancy has been so hard emotionally, physically, mentally, spiritually, and any other way possible that I know this will be my last one. It makes me sad, I always said I would love to have a 'burb full of kids but I know I cant do this again. Its a battle every day to not feel discouraged and totally and completly overwhelmed but at the same time still trying to enjoy and love and savor it since we know this will be the last time we get to experience this. Thank you to all our friends and family who have included us in thier thoughts and prayers and continue to provide love and support! We love you all!

Camping
Sol and I really needed to get away for a bit so we loaded up and took the girls camping back in July. It was so much fun, the girls still talk about it. We went to Barren Lake State Park in Kentucky and it was so nice and clean, I cant wait to go back! Although I do have to admit we cheat a bit when we go camping. We pick RV style parks so we can have the extras like water, electricity hook ups, restrooms, etc. So I brought my crockpot and we had chili one night for dinner, I brought my electric skillet so we had french toast and pancakes and grilled cheeses and all kinds of other non-camping food, I think we eat better while camping than at home!
Sol Driving. He rarely drives on a trip without a Red Bull.

They had a really nice and clean sandy beach there and we all loved it!

4th Of July
It rained all 4th of July weekend. That has to be against some kind of law right? Well Sol went to the lake and me and the girls stayed home and tried to wait out the rain for some fireworks. Never happened. So, we decided to just have a impromptu photo shoot and the girls thought it was cool that I let them take some of the pictures by themselves. Here are a couple of my favorite ones:
Chels was so tired of waiting that she actually fell asleep after I got her all decked out with her stuff...

The Next day it was sortof cleared up so we went out to Uncle Tims (Sols brother) and did some little sparklers, etc at his house in between "cloud bursts"
Emma takes after her mother and wasnt a fan of sparklers.

Once Again.... I am alive!
I just dont seem to be as good at blogging lately now that Facebook kinda does it for me! lol
I will keep trying though so just be patient and I will try to do better!

Chelseas 5th Birthday
Right before we left the house, Notice her hair was done before we left! :)
My Chelsea Taylor turned 5 on June 5. We had her party at Monkey Joes and everyone had a lot of fun-for the most part. Emma peed her pants in one of the inflatables so I had to take her in the bathroom, rinse out her clothes and stand there forever with them under the hand dryer until they were dry enough to go play. Then like 5 minutes before we were ready to leave, Kylee started throwing up. Good thing thier adopted Uncle Pat was there to save the day. He was grabbing handfuls of throw up and cleaning her up since I was still VERY naseous then.
We were also lucky enough to have Chelseas very best friend, Cyrus from school come, she didnt even know anyone else was there! After every present if he wasnt looking she was very sure to point it out to him. They went down all the slides together holding hands even.

Thats right! Not Dora! Her first party since her 1st that she has NOT picked Dora theme!
Happy Birthday to my Big Birthday Girl! Love you Boom Boom!
