The New Backyard Toy

I found a slip'n'slide the other day at the store and the girls LOVE it, I even went down it a couple times-until I read it was for children under age 12. Oh well... Watch the whole thing-its pretty funny. Ya and dont mind the long grass, Sol REALLY REALLY Needs to do the grass.

Chelseas 4th Birthday

Per Chelseas Request we are doing Chelseas 4th Birthday Party at Chuck E. Cheese by the church and Rivergate Mall in Madison at 6 PM-anyone and everyone is invited. We have the table reserved for the whole night so if you can come for 20 min or the whole time, please do. The kids always love this place and since its on a weekday night it wont (at least I hope) be too crowded. Chels cant decide weather to have me make one or order one but we will order a couple pizzas and some drinks and tokens for the kids to play. Let me know if you can come so I can plan accordingly! I will send out invites later on when it gets closer but everyone is invited!

Thanks Babe!

OK so if you cant tell I have been going a little picture crazy lately. WHY? Maybe its because SOL GOT ME A NEW CAMERA!! YAY! I have been wanting a new camera for a while now but those darn bills keep needing to be paid-Imagine that I know! But Sol did manage to get me one for Mothers Day (ok it wasnt On mothers day, it was the weekend after, the day we went to the zoo but close enough) So here are some pics of the day after right before we went to church. Since then I have had Rachel do my hair. I am now MUCH BLONDER than I am in these pics. I love it!

The Nashville Zoo

We went to the Zoo this weekend. Sol and I are switching off every other weekend choosing what we do that weekend so that nobody always gets to do the same thing and it avoids the whole Doing the Same thing every weekend mess/fight. It is such a nice zoo-most of the trails are shaded with branches so if you go on a nice day its actually pretty good. So we are now proud members of The Nashville Zoo so we can go anytime we stinkin want. The girls just LOVED it!

I know, I know

Ok So I tried to quit blogging cold turkey and I couldnt do it! Pathetic I know, maybe its because its my only way to see what everyone else who doesnt live in my house is doing. Guess I will just try to keep it under control a little better!

No More Blogging For Me!

Ok So I have decided that I am going to try to change some things around here. I read the last talk from the Sunday Session of this last Conference talk by I belive it was M. Russel Ballard about Mothers/Motherhood Called Daughters Of God. In it it says:
"I am impressed by countless mothers who have learned how important it is to focus on the things that can only be done in a particular season of life. If a child lives with parents for 18 or 19 years, that span is only one-fourth of a parent’s life. And the most formative time of all, the early years in a child’s life, represents less than one-tenth of a parent’s normal life. It is crucial to focus on our children for the short time we have them with us and to seek, with the help of the Lord, to teach them all we can before they leave our homes. This eternally important work falls to mothers and fathers as equal partners. I am grateful that today many fathers are more involved in the lives of their children. But I believe that the instincts and the intense nurturing involvement of mothers with their children will always be a major key to their well-being. In the words of the proclamation on the family, “Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children” (“The Family: A Proclamation to the World,” Liahona, Oct. 2004, 49; Ensign, Nov. 1995, 102). "
So I am taking head to that and have decided to stop blogging. I decided that I have been spending too much time on the computer these days so I am eliminating one more thing that "keeps sucking me in" so that I will hopefully be more productive during the day and be a better mommy and spend more quality time with my girls before they head off to school in August. (yes Kylee AND Chels will be in school in August, wierd I know!)
If anyone hasnt read that talk I HIGHLY recommend it. You can read it here:
