I have been tagged! (I should be packing but whatever!)

These are the rules: list 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 surprising facts and then tag 5 other people. Leave a comment for the people you tag so they know they have been tagged.

Joys....
1. Listening to my kids play happily and together
2. Traveling
3. Date night when we get a sitter

Fears....
1. Something bad happening to one or all of my kids and not being able to do anything about it
2. Something happening to me and I wouldnt be able to watch my kids grow up
3. Sol not being able to work for some reason

Obsessions/Collections....
1. Shoes-especially heels
2. Purses
3. Did I mention shoes (I do love new makeup though)

Surprising facts.....
1. I have to take a bath every night or I cant sleep
2. I I hate to sweat, if I am going to get sweaty while doing something, I dont do it!
3. I love to go swimming, to the lake, been to the ocean a few times but I never get in. I am a horrible swimmer and am TERRIFIED of drowning. So my general rule is "IF I CANT SEE THE BOTTOM OF IT, I AINT GETTIN IN!"

1. Kristin
2. Michelle
3. Shaina
4. Abby

Can't wait to see everyones answers.

Kindergarten and Pre-K...The best things on earth (as far as I am concerned anyways)

Kylee and Chelsea started school today! Hooray! As I was walking out from dropping Chels off I saw other parents walking out and some were actually CRYING! Now I am a pretty sympathetic person (I think anyways) but I had a hard time not laughing at them, I was so excited to drop them off I was feeling kinda bad about it!

Sol took the day off so he could see it all first hand so the we loaded up the whole crew at 7:20 and dropped Chels off first. We went in and Chels just dropped her backpack and said hi to her teacher and reached right for the puzzles. I was like (chuckling to myself becuse the teacher was in awe that a student that young was not falling apart and crying at the thought of being gone all day) "umm, Chels you forgot to kiss me!"
She laughed and came and hugged and kissed me and I wished her a good day. She went right to the puzzle.
Sol then "what about daddy?" Again, she laughed and hugged and kissed him and that was that. She didn't care we were gone, she was so ready for it that she was starting to get naughty at home last week or so because she wanted and needed to go so bad.

So then off to Kylees class. Her backpack was full of all her supplies and we had some extra stuff like her nap mat and all that so we were carying it for her. Well before we dropped Chels off, we ran into Kylees teacher at the end of the hallway so she said she would wait there for us before she got the rest of the class from the cafeteria) So we drop Chels off and meet her teacher at the end of the hall and she leaves to get the rest of the class. She gets back and we all trail in back of her and since we are carrying everything for her Kylee runs up to her teacher and starts chatting her up-didnt care if we were there or not, the school could have probably been on fire and she would have been oblivious to it.
*side note about Kylees clothes- she desprately wants to be a "rocker chick" in her own words, So if we are in the store and she sees ANYTHING with skulls or crossbones then she pleads and pleads for it. So yes my 5 yr old is wearing a shirt with skulls on it and skater shoes, this was the compromise outfit, if you think this is bad, you should have seen some of the other ones she wanted at the store!Oh ya and we had the whole "you will be so hot wearing that tomorrow for recess, No, mom I will be fine!" argument and after a while I didnt even care, I figured let her sweat pretty good a day and maybe she will be more willing to listen. Ya it just so happened to be 98 degrees today so yes I felt really bad for her at recess all day today!*
We help her find her desk and give the teacher her stuff. Kylee kisses us and thats that. Sol and I were like "ok, there are seriously upset, crying moms, whats the deal, we are soo glad to be dropping them off!"
So in Celebration Sol, Me and Emma went to Jack in the Box for breakfast! It was wierd to go out with just one kid again, I kept looking around thinking some of my kids were lost or something. This is me with no make-up, I really should have done it but I chose to sleep for those 10 minutes rather then do it so I look like a racoon but who cares, I sure dont, I didnt have 2 of my kids ALL day!

Fast forward to that afternoon when we picked them up:

We walk down to Chelseas class (since its the pre-k program I have to sign her in and out every day in the classroom) and she is so into what the teachers have them doing as a time filler on the board that she is oblivious to whats going on until Emma sees her and yells "Telsee, Telsee! Siss-er, siss-er!" Chels sees us and jumps up (already with her backpack on) and heads to the door. She about knocks me over with a hug and I ask her if she had fun. "yes! yes! yes!"
So we go walk out and I told her tell her teachers thank you. So she does more of a yell then thank you. Then she takes about 3 steps and then realized she forgot something. She runs back and YELLS "LOVE YOU!" to her teachers and runs off. She had such a good, fun day she was almost "twiterpaited" (a fun word off bambi for all those non-disney dvd watchers out there) The whole way home she chattered about this and that and her teachers. She loved it and cant wait to go back.
So we go around the corner to pick up Kylee and she had just woken up from her rest (the kids who are car riders stay an extra hour so they have "rest time" for that hour)She was so groggy, her shoes were on the wrong feet, she just grabbed her backpack and walked out the door. Sol and I look at her and eachother kinda puzzled, she has been soo excited for school we were kinda expecting the same thing Chels did. On the way home she woke up a bit and was excited to tell us about her day and loved it too but for a while there I was kinda nervous her hatred for school had already started!
It was a good day, I cant believe I have 2 kids in school, I cant believe I am old enough to have 2 kids in school but none the less I am glad to have them in school and even more that they like it and have good teachers!

Finished, Finito, All Done, Gone Gone!

Ok I finished Breaking Dawn this morning. It was sooo good! I loved it! I have to say though that I liked the outcome but was kinda disappointed by how the outcome came to be. Other than that I totally loved it! Now I can resume normal life and start gearing up for my kids to start school next week! Whoo Hoo!

Breaking Dawn

Hey Ladies, I havent dissappeared,I have been totally consumed with the new Twighlight book, Breaking Dawn.
I am not done with it yet but in my defense it didnt come in the mail till Tuesday afternoon. So in 48 hours I have read 455 pages, pretty good I think! So in the mean time nobody is to come to my house and see the filth we have been living in since I cant even get my book closed long enough to clean it or my dirty kids, (ok they had a bath but thier hair isnt washed or brushed) and I think they have been eathing fish crakers, graham crackers and whatever else they can find to to eat for lunch for the past couple days. I am trying really hard to not be such a bad mom today and trying to actually get stuff done, Chels has her meet the teacher night tonight at 4 and I will prolly have to take all the kids with me since Sol isnt going to be home in time. Just kidding, come over if you want but my house is so beyond dirty, my bathrooms arent clean and my kitchen floor desperately needs to be mopped due to all the different flavors of milk that have been made and spilled by my children over the past few days! :)

My Honey!

Ok so I just thought I would tell yall how much Sol has been helping me thru this drama. He has been so good about getting me set up in bed or on the couch and helping me to go pee when I couldnt stand up right or if I was too wobbly to walk from my pain pills. Ever since Wednesday night if I move at all in bed he sits straight up like he's having a nightmare or something and asks me all panicked, "are you ok, what do you need, I will get it for ya!" He even comes to lay down next to me in bed and if I get up to go pee or something hes right there "here I'll go get it!" He has been doing the kids too since then. He loads the kids up if we go somewhere, unloads them, dresses them, changes Emmas diapers. Basically being a stay at home mom on top of taking care of me. He has been doing all the food, yesterday he made me a yummy turkey quesedilla for lunch. He took all the kids on the boat yesterday and let me rest with no kids at Rachels house and even called me 3 times in the 4 hours he was gone to check on me. He has been my best friend thru this long week, my strength, my comfort, and my life saver. I am so grateful to him for all his help thru this long week, I know it hasnt been easy on him and he hasnt complained once about any of this! LOVE YOU BABE!
