I know, I know....

I am pretty sure you can just expect from now on very sporatic blog posting. Facebook has become my new blogger, I know, I know.....

Since April we have done so much and have had a ton of new, fun things happen.

MAY:
The girls finished up the school year. Kylee was able to pass onto 1st grade-barely and with some fits thrown by myself and 'things mentioned' by other teachers at the school. Kylee is a super smart girl and tries hard and gets tasks accomplished, just in her own time and she is VERY easily distracted. Which makes for some issues in school. Things were pretty rocky for a while but with some extra help in class and also going to Kumon tutoring twice a week she has really started to dramatically improve. Chels graduated from Kindergarten. She got to lead all the Kindergarten classes in the Macarena dance and LOVED it, she was not shy at all and did just what she was supposed to do and it it perfectly! We had some really great neighbors who were best friends with my kids who were also in my kids same classes at school, and they were getting ready to move away to Michigan. So, us moms wanted to get them together as often as possible until they moved. So, we pulled the older kids out of school early and took all the crew to Baskin Robins for my kids first visit. Of course it went amazingly well!

Big month for me too, As of May 11 I am officially a student again for the first time in 8 years. I am enrolled in an online course through CareerStep to teach me to be a certified Medical Transcriptionist. I am so nervous but I am sure I will do ok. Typing quickly is definitely one of my strong points, I just need to learn the medical mumbo-jumbo now.

June: My Chels turned 6! Sol was sick that day with the nasty stomache bug that we picked up the last week of school and it made its rounds. We had her party at a place called The Family Fun Center. They got to ride bumper cars, play laser tag, climb on stuff, play in ball pits, everything you can imagine, they did that day and had a ball! Daddy missed the party because he was sick so the next day (the day before her birthday) we went to the Adventure Science Center and tried out our new family pass. Sol had just as much fun as the kids did!

We went camping too! For Fathers Day weekend we had planned a 3 day excursion that lasted 1 night. It was so miserably hot but we decided to try it anyways. We set up camp, went to find a bait shop and got rear ended while turning into the bait shop. Very minimal damage to the truck but completly totaled the other ladies Chevrolet Impala. Turned out the frame was bent and they had to fix a couple other things, $3000.00 later and a week of driving a BRAND NEW Chevrolet Silverado on top of it, we were back in business.

Then came Grammy and our Birdie! They came to visit and also to help me keep everything in line while I worked on my class! It was so nice to have them here and spend time with them that it was hard to not hang out and work on my class, I didn't get even close to as much done as I had planned or expected but it was nice to see them!

July: Birdie and Grammy left and we mainly tried to spend the rest of the month trying to stay cool. Most of the days got up to well over 100 with the humidity and heat index. We went to the Adventure Science Center a bunch, worked on our Kumon and reading skills a ton and loved waking up at 9 AM.

August: The big girls started school again the first week. Chels was excited to be able to use a backpack this year (in Kindergarten all the kids had the same GBE totebags with thier names on them, very lame, I know!) and Kylee was excited to wear her new 'rock'n'roll' clothes she got.

Ash turned 9 months old and started WALKING! He started pushing stuff around a week before that but one day he decided he was done and just started walking and now he wants nothing to do with crawling anymore!

September (so far): We had our 8 year anniversary on Sept 7. Hard to believe its been that long (or short somedays) since I said I do to be married to my best friend.

To celebrate we bought our first mini-van! Well kinda. We needed it anyways, REALLY bad and our anniversary was 2 days before so...yeah... AND I LOVE MY VAN! My favorite features include the automatic power doors as well as having a DVD player in the headrests and wireless headphones so I dont have to hear it!

October:

My Emma turned FOUR! How that happened I am not quite sure and not quite sure I like it either!  She had her party at Monkey Joes and she loved it. She was so happy and was laughing and gigglying all night.

We also had Halloween, of course. Kylee was Hannah Montana, Chels was a diva cheetah, Emma was a cowgirl, and Asher was Yoda. It was pretty cute to see everyone all dressed up and in thier own world and loving the fun of Halloween.

November:

We had my 27th birthday. It was a great day spent with Sol shopping and eating and ended with a really fun date night with just Sol

We also had my not-so-baby-anymore boys FIRST birthday. It was a bittersweet day but he had a lot of fun being the star of the show.

Sol also turned 30! It was a good  night, we went for sushi and got lots of baking done for Thanksgiving

December:

Christmas- We had a couple Christmas'. We had our own little one here then we had one in Arizona at Sols partents house. Kylee learned the cold ugly truth about Santa and was actually cool about it and thought it was still fun!

Disneyland: My mom and dad got us Disneyland tickets for Christmas. It was a blast! The girls were finally tall enough to go on most of the bigger roller coaster rides and loved them!

We drove from TN to AZ to CA and back in my van. It was not quite as fun as I was hoping but everyone made it out alive, barely!

January:

Moving, Flu/Pneumonia, Babies, Grammy, Snow Days, It has been a CRAZY month!
