Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam!
We Give You A Name And A Blessing....
We had the opportunity to bless Asher out in AZ at my moms house. Sol was so cute while doing it.
First off, he packed his own bag. Well, his suit doesnt fit anymore so he just packed his khackis and Doc Martins. Well, I wanted something a little more special for this occasion as well as the pictures so my mom and I went into my dads closet and guess what? Sol and my dad are the EXACT same size! He wore my dads suit that my dad wore to two of my sisters weddings! He was even able to borrow a belt, shoes and socks! Thanks to Sol for being a good sport and putting up with my anal, OCD side! :)
Second, he loves all his kids, but with Buddy, its different. It doesnt matter what is going on or what he is planning on doing. If it is something 'manly' hes trying to get Buddy in on the action. The looks that get exhanged between them are so sweet and priceless.
He gave a beautiful blessing even thru the fussing and ended it a little early since he was starting to get louder and more upset.
I am so thankful and love that my hubby could and was able to bless our little man!

Solomon "Asher" Williams
Our sweet boy arrived November 4, 2009. I went in for my last dr. appt on Monday the 2nd and he said we could pick either Wednesday or Thursday of that week to enduce labor. We said Wednesday-I honestly think Sol picked that day because he couldnt deal with the whole "I am never going into labor" mean person I had turned into anymore. I was DONE!
This is the last pregnant pic of me. This is right before we walked out the door to go to the hospital.
We showed up to the ER at 7 AM per dr orders, get to the registration desk only to have the lady see my insurance card and say "hold on a minute." NOT FUNNY!
Well, turns out our insurance redid all the contracts and the hospital we were at didnt sign the new contract. So, we had to go thru some extra steps and some extra phone calls and some nerve racking minutes wondering if I was infact going to be enduced or not. But, they did let me upstairs-thank goodness.
Dr. came in and broke my water at 7:30, I was dialated to a 2 and 70% effaced. Sol thought it was a good idea to bring out one of the card games we brought. We played that for about an hour or so but in the meantime, the nurse started me on petocin at 8. After the contractions started to get too bad to concentrate on the game we put it away and watched TV. I asked for some Nubaine, they gave me a dose- Nothing. They gave me a second dose- Nothing. By then I was done feeling them and ready for my epidural. She checked me I was at a 4 so they called the guy.
He came up, did his thing and finished up right as Rachel, Sols mom, and Emma came up. I was at a 7 already and the dr said he was going to go change since he thought we would be pushing soon. 3 Contractions later I was telling Sol to go find the nurse, I had to push. In came the dr and nurse, they set up the bed, I pushed TWICE and he was out. The dr did not even have enough time to put his hat and booties on. I found all his stuff still sitting on the table that night. The nurse was laughing because I told her when we were starting and she was putting my IV in that I set a goal to be done before lunch because I was super hungry (I wasnt allowed to eat after midnight) High and getting into 'the zone'
He was 6 lbs 8 oz and 19 in long and perfectly healthy in every way. We all love this little boy and feel so extremly blessed that everything went well with the delivery and he is healthy.

November Catch Up
Ok now here is November.
We had my 26th birthday- We didnt do anything. I got my enducement date the day before at my last dr appt and I was happy with that. Sol went to work with his dad and I spent the day relaxing, visiting with my sweet mother-in-law, and finishing up tying up loose ends for my baby boy to come the next day. This year it was the perfect birthday! The next week after things calmed down a little Sol went shopping with his mom while I took 2 of the kids to the dr they picked me out a really cute new coat and boots.
The next day we were blessed with our sweet baby boy we have been waiting for for so long. Everything went great with the delivery and he was perfect. I will do a seperate post with pics and everything for ya to enjoy! :)
Then on the 25th we had Sols birthday. He turned 29. Very uneventful-seems to be the theme for our birthdays this year. The girls made him cards and I made him breakfast in bed. Then that night we slept over at Tims and had a litle family cake and ice cream deal.
Of course we did Thanksgiving the next day. We were at Tims. I brought all 6 pies-Pumpkin, Cherry, Pecan, Strawberry, Key Lime, and a Crunchy Carmel Apple. They all tasted so good, I barely ate any dinner because I had been working on the pies all day! :)
Anyways, thats November, I am now offically caught back up! hooray!
October Catchup
October came and went so quick, my head is still spinning. November did too! Here is what happened in October....
Emma turned THREE! How that happened I dont know but it did and she loved it. Being 9 months pregnant made me really not want to do anything at all but I felt bad so we did a little family cake and ice cream party with Tim and his family even though Rachel and Adam were in Texas. Daddy got her her pink Nintendo DS that she has been asking for forever and I got her the Lovely Lisa game for it and Grandmother Ivy sent her some money so we got her the Little Einstiens game for it. She is a pretty happy girl for sure!

Then Sols parents flew in from AZ to help welcome baby Asher.

Chelsea had a field trip to Honeysuckle Hill Farm. Emma and I went (even though everyone didnt think it was a good iead-they thought I was going to go into labor in the corn maze or something!)and we all had fun. Chels really needed some good fun mama time and I liked going and seeing her class and was able to put faces with names. They got to pick and take home a little pumpkin and she thought that was the best thing ever!

After they flew in we took all the kids in the family down to Build-A-Bear Workshop and they all made bears for her birthday party. It was a huge hit, all the big kids are saying they want to go back for thier birthday party.

Then there comes Halloween. They all picked out different fairies from the Tinkerbell movie. Kylee was Silvermist, Chels was Irredessa, and Emma was Tinkerbell. They all thought it was beyond awesome. We took them trick-or-treating in Adam and Rachels neighborhood. Adam had the great idea to hook up the big wagon to the back of the quad and go like that. It was a wonderful idea! I thought it would be a good idea to try to put myself into labor by running up and down the hills next to the quad. I was running 8-10 MPH on the hills and no contractions.
