Easter 2009....So Far
We got up early this morning and went to an Easter Egg Hunt that some friends put together. They said there were 580+ eggs. Yeah, it only took 8 minutes for the kids to find them all! They had a baby section set up for kids age 2 and under. So I set Emma up there and went to help the big girls and told Sol to supervise Emma. Well, she got kicked out of the baby section after people realized she was bigger and a better egg hunter than anyone thought!

Afterward we dyed Easter Eggs and I taught them how to Peel, Crack, And Eat them for our afternoon snack! They think they are pretty tricky now! I told them to go out on yucky clothes and this is what they came up with so I take NO responsibility for thier outfits! :)

Follow Up
We went and met the lady at her store as promised and she had a TON of our stuff. She had our Halloween Decorations I didnt know were left behind, 2 boxes of Christmas stuff that again, I had no idea were left behind. A TON of baby stuff and of course the scrapbooks.
As it turns out the lady and her mom even called the Church Headquarters library and tried to get in contact thru them.
Why?
She wrote me a note and gave it to us right when we got there. When they were little they had a fire and lost everything so they knew what it was like to loose sentimental stuff like that.
They even took a picture of us with them on thier little disposable camera.
I was so happy that these ladies took the time and energy and effort to track us down. After I got home I sat and re-read every scrapbook and got so choked up about some of the things I said to my girls in thier books and was so thankful that they were returned!

There Really Are Good People Out There
Last month when we moved out of our house in Springfield it was crazy as most moves are. Well, a box of books that had my scrapbooks and baby books that I made for the girls got left accidentally as well as most of the baby stuff in the unfinished bonus room. We went to get them but the new owners had already changed the locks so it was impossible to get them as we didnt know who the new owners were or how to contact them. I was totally, incredibly heartbroken.
I had spent so much time and energy (money too) on making the baby books for the girls. I had the ultrasounds pictueres, birth pictures, keepsakes, all that sentimental stuff in there and I was devastated at the thought of loosing them. All the rest of the other stuff could be replaced eventutually but the baby books was the main thing that I was upset about loosing. So I decided to just put a note on the door and and hoped that they called me back.
In the mean time I would stop by the house to see if I could catch them, ask the neighbors if they knew them yet, and hoped and prayed so hard that I would get a phone call. I was even giving myself the mother of all "its ok, its just stuff, you have some of the pics scanned in and the memory of all that stuff wont be forgotten and you can make another one" pep talks.
Well, today I have been busy doing the typical mom stuff. I get a phone call from my friend Whitney saying that her little brother Corbin just got a call from a lady saying she had some baby pictures that she wanted to get back to me. My heart sank-I was hoping it would be the books but I would take the pictures. So I called her back. No answer so I left a message. The second I hung up my brother in law Adam called. He got the same phone call Corbin did. I immediately called her back again and she answers this time.
Long story short, she said she has a bunch of my baby stuff, Christmas ornaments and even my baby books and wedding albums and all that that I made. She owns a shop kinda like Goodwill and a lady came in and donated a bunch of stuff. She said she didnt have the heart to put them out on the floor of the store. She found the numbers in one of the books I had while I was pregnant from one of the kids and had written down names and numbers of people for Sol to call when I went into the hospital/had the baby.
So, thanks to this wonderful lady whom I have never met yet I get to go down at 8:30 in the morning before her store opens up and get my books back! (I am excited to see what else of mine she has there, especially my baby stuff since number 4 is on its way but the books is the thing that I really, really want)
I was so emotional while talking to this lady I think I thanked her about a million times and even got choked up and started BAWLING when I called Sol and told him about it.
Even though the world we live in doesnt seem like its getting any better and is full of terrible people there really are good and decent people out there who want to make a difference and I am soo beyond thankful for ladies like this as well as answered prayers!

Happy Birthday Kylee Baby!
Kylee was so excited to get her Hannah Montana Wig. The original plan was for her to dress up as Hannah then have Sol being the Body Guard/Head of Security. Yeah, I forgot the letters for Sols shirt and Kylee got the wig and decided it was too itchy to wear the whole night so she wore it off and on all night. Thanks Abby for the wig, it was a good shot! :)
My Kylee Baby turned 6 yesterday. I have pretty much always called her Kylee Baby her whole life. I thought she would start getting embarrased by it by now but so far its still ok. She is really really into Hannah Montana lately so of course we did a Hannah Montana Blowout! Her Uncle Tim (Sols Brother) got her a pair of shorts, 2 shirts and a hat and we were all pretty suprised that they were cute and the right size! Kylee Loves the outfit, she woke up this morning and put them on first thing. For her present from her family (mom, dad, and sisters) I sold my ipod on ebay and got her a Nintendo DS starter kit. It came with the console, 2 games and an accessories pack with the car charger, the rubber protector case, and all that jazz. She knew she was getting it a while ago because I let her pick it out and the games that came with it but I told her she couldnt have it until her birthday. She forgot about it so was really suprised when she opened it. She got a TON of cute things from her friends that came. We have the best friends and family anyone could ask for!
We played a version of Hot Potato called Pass the Mic, and Hannah Montana Bingo but I was doing the games not taking pictures so sorry but the kids really like them. There was also a pinata that the kids really enjoyed beating open!
Ethan was the funniest one to watch, he got so into it, I am TOTALLY shocked he did not break that thing into a million pieces! Heres the cake and the kids sitting in the kitchen eating thier cake and ice cream. They were so funny-they LOVED having a "picnic" in the kitchen!
The Tooth Fairy Found Kylee!
I mean, Really, You think the tooth fairy would have been a total slacker the first time out? NOPE!
Heres a picture of Kylee with her loot! She asked for a "flowa and a dolla" so thats what she got! Actually, it was two dollars because Sol said if she pulled it herself she gets an extra one.

Kylee's First Lost Tooth
Yup, thats right! My big girl that will be 6 next Friday lost her first tooth today! It became loose on the 4th but it took some enticing to get it out. She was playing with it and Sol saw how loose it was and just barely tugged it and it came right out! She was so excited her eyes started to tear up and she was in total shock! She said that she wants the tooth fairy to come tonight and bring her a "dolla and a flowa" (a flower and a dollar) so I better get to the store and find a cheap single flower somewhere! :)
