Kylee has always been very conscience of her little sisters. She is only 15 months older than Chels but she has always been a little mama to her since the day she was born! Chels was about 2 weeks old here and Kylee 15 1/2 months.
Sometimes you just need a reminder to stop, relax, and "smell the roses".
I have been really busy trying to get packed and ready to move the past couple days. While the girls were at school today I went around and took everything off my walls and off the top of my cupboards and really started packing. So when we got home from picking them up Kylee said "Woah! Look at our really empty house! Is it time to move?" I told her no not yet but soon.
They went along thier usual after school activities while I did some more packing and wiping/cleaning. Kylee came in and asked me if she could help me put thier books in a box. Sure, Why not? You cant break books. Then same thing with a big pastic tub of toys. Sure Why not.
I fed them dinner and sent them to the tub right after like I always do. And Kylee looked at me and said "Mom, how about you relax and I will help my sisters and me in the tub." I said ok. Then proceeded to sneak and watch the tub activites by peeking around the door frame. She started the tub, helped Emma undress and got the stool and held her hand as she climbed into the tub then she got the hair washing cup and literally washed hers, Emmas and Chelseas hair with Shampoo and Conditioner-IN THE RIGHT ORDER!
Then got herself out, dried off and got her sisters towels and helped them out. Just like I do. She even got Emmas Jammies out and a diaper (after she asked me if Emma needs a diaper or panties) and helped her get them on! She even got the diaper right!
I was so astonished I got choked up! SHE'S ALMOST 6 FOLKS! Then she came to me and said "Mom, I like to help you because you are so great to us while we are in school so I wanted to thank you!" Are you kidding me? Your 6-next month! Where did you learn to talk like that!
Then I wanted to see if she would say it again so I called my little sister whom she and I both adore. She told her that "I am just taking care of my mom to thank her because she is so great to us!"
I am so greatful to have her, and my other girls to teach me lessons like that. Love you sweet baby girl!
Kylee ADORES Emma, she has always loved to help take care of her
