Whew!

So what do you get when you cross a momma, an ear infection, strep throat, and the flu? ME SINCE TUESDAY!

Ya thats right I had all that for a day and a half. I picked my kids up from school Tuesday afternoon and pretty much didnt get off the bed or couch until 2 AM today. It was HORRIBLE! My house was at 72 and I couldnt stop shivering at all no matter what I did until about 11 on Wednesday then at about 2 when I thought was starting to feel better (and kicking myself for canceling my hair appt with Rachel) I started throwing up. I couldnt keep water, juice or saltine crackers down. Finally at about 9 when Sol got the kids to bed I talked him into going to Sonic and getting me a Route 44 Sprite so I could sip on it and eat the ice. I was feeling that dehydrated!

On Tuesday night Emma started to get concerned for me so I told her I was sick. Her reply was "momma, need a treatment?" I thought it was so cute and hilarious and sad all at the same time. We dont call it a treatment, we call it "breather medicine" so that tells me how much I have had to take her into the ER!

I am so thankful for Sol. He got up and did Mr. Mom including getting the kids up for school and getting them there and picking them up. I am feeling a bit better today but didnt want to go out in the 14 degree weather so hes taking them right now. He did dinner last night, Granted it was Taco Bell but hey Im not picky! He has been in charge to the point that I dont know what my kids ate for the past 2 days besides Taco Bell last night. He even went out to the store twice last night to get me what I thought I wanted.

I still have the strep bug but I am lysol-ing everything and washing everything I was breathing on and I cant wait to snuggle on my kids again. I was thinking last night how I missed doing all the night time snuggles with my girlies and Sol!

Somehow I dont think Sol is going to be too disappointed at going to work tomorrow! Thanks honey LOVE YA!
